TJIF ... my version. Thank JESUS it's Friday! I have waited for this day since Monday last!! Having a full time (8 to 5) job is only fun on paydays. I have so many WIP projects and much more ideas in my mind but so little time. I am not complaining, in fact I am glad I have this job of mine. I like the people I work with, that is a bonus. It helps pay bills and I can buy all the craft materials I need without feeling guilty. So let me confess, (at last count) I have 5 BIG drawers full of fabrics. I buy each piece of fabric with a project in mind (does that mean I have 5 drawers full of projects?)
I think Pei is kind of popular at school because her mum makes her tote bags, fleece blankets, dance costumes, etc, etc. I have lost count how many tote bags I have made for Pei & her friends and my friends & their friends! It was ALL fun. I enjoyed every bit of it.
I found this fabric with a yoga theme at Joannes Fabric and made Pei a bag for her yoga met.
But some days, Pei carries more than just her yoga met when she goes for her yoga class, so out came this other yoga bag.
I added this bronze looking duet pin I found at a costume jewellry place. Nice touch?
This is my latest creation. Another bag for Pei of course! Bright turquoise and orange fabric colors of her choice. I just can't seem to find a great BIG orange button to use as a closure for the bag. Any other suggestions please?
Call me crazy, but I created all these under the watchful eyes of Bailey, my grandpuppy Chihuahua!
Enjoy your weekend everyone! I plan to spend most of mine creating.
hello,
if you can't find a big orange button for your bag, why don't you make one yourself, for example like this: http://joybucket.typepad.com/joybucket/2006/03/flower_hairpin_.html
